Top Non Verbal & Negotiation Experts Form Company
Their Goal: Better Negotiations Through Deeper Insights
JANUARY 28, 2008 – Two top experts in non-verbal communications and negotiations are joining forces to help individuals and organizations function at the highest possible levels. They will do so by pooling their resources to educate on the crucial role that non-verbal communication plays in human interactions and how it’s power can be harnessed effectively. They will do so both in person and through media outreach.
Non-verbal communications expert Dr. Barry A. Goodfield of the United States and negotiation and mediation specialist H.A. Ilgen MA of the Netherlands (www.ilgen.com) are launching a joint company by the name of Goodfield & Ilgen: Expert Consultancy & Training.
Goodfield is the founder of The Goodfield Institute (www.goodfieldinstitute.com) and The Goodfield Method, which is built on from his discovery of what he calls the Non-Verbal Leak.
“I am proud to announce this groundbreaking union,” stated Dr. Goodfield. “There is a lot to be gained through boosting the precision and quality of decision making, negotiation and mediation using an understanding of unconscious human behavior. But to get there we must educate on the subtleties of non-verbal communication. And so that is why we have formed this partnership.”
Using exclusive and patented methods Goodfield & Ilgen will train leaders and other individuals in numerous areas, including:
Negotiation, Communications, Personal development, Crisis management techniques, and Wide range of interpersonal behaviors.
These methods are the only ones of their kind ever granted by the United States Patent office.
“For 35 years The Goodfield Method has proven to be of great value in assessing and predicting human behavior in various contexts,” stated Ilgen. “Now it is time to make these and other insights available to even more leaders and professionals. Goodfield & Ilgen will focus on providing expert consulting and training to commercial, professional and governmental organizations in Europe.”
Additional services that Goodfield & Ilgen will make available to companies include:
Corporate Profile Services, Business Analysis for Executive Search, Training the Trainers, Crisis Management Planning, Cross-cultural Education and Negotiation, and Media and Presentation Training.
“Any person looking at the challenges we face in our world today will agree that the more accurately we see these challenges and differences and the more precisely we read the conscious and unconscious factors influencing these challenges the better off our world will be.
